(ISC)2 Secure Dallas 2010

Please join Brightfly’s Managing Director of Research, Brandon Dunlap, on Monday, September 27th in Dallas, TX for “Language of Risk” as part of (ISC)2‘s Security Leadership Series. This event will be a highly interactive (and some would say, controversial) session , you’ll learn about a new using risk as a common language for communication of security issues with business stakeholders.

As the cornerstone of the controls selection process, risk management provides the foundation for our security program decision making. As part of your enterprise risk management program, a systematic process to identify, assess and mitigate risks through policy, process and technology is key.

This interactive event will explore choosing a risk assessment method to fit your organizational size and culture, as well as key methods for communicating and mitigating risk effectively. We continue the discussion into how to manage risks associated with internal operations, as well as vendors and business partners, incorporating the entire business ecosystem into the program effectively. This session, and the topics for discussion, are for both the management and technical level. Drawing upon pragmatic solutions from the community, this event is designed to allow knowledge sharing among the participants to further explore practical risk management techniques.

The event will be held at the Marriott Dallas/Fort Worth Solana:
5 Village Circle
Westlake, TX, 76262
(817) 430-5000
