Pilgrim Software Launches Compliance & Quality Management Systems via SaaS

Pilgrim Software, Inc., a provider of Enterprise Compliance and Quality Management (ECQM) software solutions, today announced the public unveiling of its Software as a Service (SaaS) strategy by releasing its “Pilgrim On-Demand,” a software application delivery model offering organizations an alternative solution to managing key electronic compliance and quality processes. 

While compliance and quality management systems are no longer just ‘nice to have’ systems, they have evolved to become vital to a company’s knowledge and information infrastructure. Maintaining the software and technology used by these systems can be time consuming and costly.  As such, the need to reduce IT infrastructure is a key challenge for end-users as applications, operating systems, storage, networks and databases need to be constantly upgraded.

Pilgrim On-Demand provides customers with a lower initial investment cost, reduced overhead, high degree of scalability, increased accessibility, improved collaborative productivity, easier implementation, and improved security with optimal performance.

Pilgrim’s On-Demand solution, which is run centrally from a SAS 70-certified hosting facility, is delivered on a subscription basis, and includes software, validation packs, maintenance and support. The subscription model is completely scalable, allowing for easy expansion and/or additional application installation. The web-based solution allows for effortless information sharing and increased collaborative productivity.  Advanced built-in security features guarantee the protection of customers' intellectual property.

Currently, Pilgrim provides an enterprise caliber solution that can scale from small, to medium, to large companies. The application is built based on proven best practices, for managing nonconformance management, incident management, risk management, corrective and preventive actions, action tracking and any other event tracking processes that a customer wishes to define, complaint handling, change control management, internal and external audits, document control, SOP enforcement, employee certification and training.
